Growth and artistic development

His works often have a “provocative” background: it is precisely this aspect that made him approach right from the start, by the local media, the figure of Banksy who for over 20 years has been communicating his messages in a very minimal and direct way.

Evyrein lived in London between 2003 and 2004. At that time Banksy made two works in London that approached the artist to this form of art, intriguing him and trying to understand its technique. The works that struck him for size and message were those of Pulp fiction and Smile in cooper that Banksy made in London in those years.

Travel and experiences

From an early age he went with friends at night to act as a “stake” while they made works around the Veneto. His passion for world travel, graffiti and street art have always moved in him a strong sensitivity to the whole “urban” world.

In the world he has always observed not only street art but all urban art that was grafted into places of passage but also more degraded cities such as New York, Berlin, London and a bit of all of Europe.

Instead of photographing monuments and landscapes, his attention has always been directed to the whole urban world, from the ghettos of the various cities he visits to everything that was not “normal” to see in a city.

It is precisely during the Lockdown of 2020 that he decides to go out and begins to make his first works in Padua showing his art on publicly visible surfaces. He transforms a crisis, the loss of his job due to the pandemic, into an opportunity to capitalize on the years of knowledge and passion for street art.

Ambitions and goals of the artist

“You can’t live on art” many say. His greatest ambition is to be able to live on street art, but on street art that leaves the artist free to express himself. erhaps in such a complex world where saying what one really thinks is constantly being stifled, his greatest ambition remains that of continuing to say and be what he really thinks and does.
